So what is Jet?: Jet is an e-commerce marketplace launching in early 2015. It’s currently in pre-launch so information is limited at this point.

Here is a good article on ”Marc Lore”, the man behind Jet who has had a very interesting history with Amazon and sold his first business Diapers.com to Amazon for $550 million. Lore plans for his company to offer prices 10-15% less than anyone else, in other words, an online Costco.
