2014 Year in Review

January 1, 2015 By Chad Leave a Comment

Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo, Japan Here are some of the more memorable things I did or accomplished that I can happily look back on and say 2014 was a great year.

  1. Spent 135 days away from home.
  2. Bought an Epic Pass and Mountain Collective Pass.
  3. Went to 6 new mountain resorts. (Aspen, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Loveland Ski Area, Snowmass, Telluride)
  4. Spent 43 days on a Skibbatical driving over 6000 miles.
  5. Hiked Petit Piton in St. Lucia
  6. Went to the 2014 Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships in Vail, Colorado.
  7. Worked both NASCAR races in Richmond, Virginia.
  8. Hosted 36 times on Airbnb.
  9. Went to 11 concerts.
  10. Went to 109 new restaurants/bars.
  11. Saw Amy Schumer & Rod Man (Winner of Last Comic Standing).
  12. Completed p90x3.
  13. And I’m publishing this from in Tokyo, Japan (my 4th Continent). Next stop Niseko on the northern island of Hokkaido to snowboard and then Sapporo.

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM TOKYO!
