2021 Year in Review 1

I haven’t done a year in review for many years and even though it was another tough year for so many due to COVID-19, it was also a year of great memories, life milestones, and exceeding business goals.

So here are some of the more memorable things I did or accomplished. Don’t sleep on the last one.

  1. Visited 3 new states (Oregon, Michigan, and New Hampshire) and 11 states in total bringing my count to 39.
  2. Visited 3 new mountain resorts (Mt. Bachelor, OR; Brundage, ID; Whitefish, MT) and 7 in total bringing my count to 71.
  3. Visited 2 new countries (St Vincent & the Grenadines and Grenada)
  4. Visited some new cities: Bend, OR; McCall, ID; Marfa, TX; Detroit, MI; Key West, FL; Saratoga, NY; Manchester/Dorset, VT.
  5. Spent 128 days away from home.
  6. Took an incredible yachting adventure on SeaDream Yacht Club.
  7. Hiked Gros Piton and can now say I’ve hiked both Gros and Petit Piton in St. Lucia.
  8. Went to 161 new restaurants/bars.
  9. One of which was the world-famous Le Bernardin.
  10. Went snowshoeing in Yellowstone National Park and hiking in Glacier National Park.
  11. Went backcountry snowboarding/sledding on Buffalo Mountain in Steamboat, CO.
  12. Went snowboarding with my nephew for the first time.
  13. Had a lot of great laughs with Nate Bargatze, Theo Von, and Nikki Glaser.
  14. Had my best year in business thanks to my amazing friends and clients.
  15. Was hired by Virginia Tourism Corporation to have a weekend getaway in Staunton & Lexington, VA, and produce assets for their marketing team.
  16. Was hired by Virginia’s River Realm to produce 8 videos for each of their 8 Small Towns.
  17. Worked on a 9-month project for Glen Allen Grounds showcasing a project breaking ground to completion.
  18. Had the first job that required me to fly for Versatile at Texas Instruments in Texas.
  19. Sold my photography at the Fan Arts Stroll and Three Notch’d Brewing.
  20. Sold my first rental property.
  21. Shot photos for a $3.3M real estate listing that received an offer in less than 48 hours.
  22. And most importantly, I proposed to Carey! Some of you probably even saw when it happened.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
