Correct Answers to the Memorado Quick IQ Test

Memorado Quick IQ Test

The Memorado Quick IQ Test is floating around Facebook recently and I’m sure many of you have taken it or seen someone who has. The first time I took the test I got 130, but didn’t see anywhere on the site what the maximum score was. I saw some friends that got a 132, but when I Googled it I found out the maximum score was 134 so I took the test again, rethought some answers and got a 134.

Here are the 18 questions, the answers and how I came to the answer. They are hidden by default in case you came to this page prior to taking the quiz. Click the link below to show.

Update: I think it’s pretty obvious that this test is a great marketing ploy to get people sharing it and driving traffic to their site. The lowest score you can get by answering every question wrong is 98 so there is only a 36 point difference from smartest to dumbest. It’s playing on our egos to share how smart we think we are.

Here is what they are really looking for. Well played Memorado.

I first saw this test on Facebook ( some got only 124) so I took the test and got 134 ; thus I wanted to know the highest score; so I played around with my answers & each time I changed an answer it went down….so I realized that 134 must be highest & that I got all answers correct. The test is somewhat shallow & confined to particular ? types.
but it is a Quick IQ Test !!

The test is completely fake. It’s a click-bait marketing gimmick, designed to appeal to people’s ego.

If you intentionally get ever question wrong you still get ~100.

The goal is to get you to be proud of your fake high IQ an then “share” it on facebook or twitter or whatever, helping promote their site.

I agree it’s a great marketing ploy to get people to their site, but the questions are real and the thought process to get the answer is real so it’s still good for the brain in general. How they calculate the score as you mentioned is probably crap and they are definitely playing on peoples desire to share to prove how smart they are.

Also I did the same as you and took the test making sure to answer wrong each time and the lowest score is 98. So that means there is only a 36 point difference from dumbest to smartest.

How the calculate the results are crap, yes.

      It’s a simple matter of 36/18= 2. Starting från 98 and up to 134.

Every correct answer adds 2 points.

Fast or slow doesn’t seem to matter. I thought it might, so I guessed at one of the number progression ones that was taking me awhile to figure out. Got 132 the first time, I guessed at it wrong. Did it again and got 134. It is pretty accurate, especially for how little time it takes. If you get 134, that means you’re probably at least 134, maybe higher. There is a huge difference between people that get 120, 130 or 134. This is a fast and accurate test to see who is at least 134.

Actually, no. I got a Mensa confirmed IQ of 145 and I got only 132 on the test because I didnt know gloves turned inside out could fit the other hand(I am from Italy and its always hot enough here so you dont need to wear them).

Sorry, but I live in Florida and have never once donned a glove. The purpose of IQ tests is derivation, and explicitly not meant to be biased by personal experience. I answered the glove question properly because I used my head for a brief moment, touched my middle finger tips together and realized that if I were to remove a glove from my left hand, and in the process turn it inside-out, then it would perfectly fit on my right – again, I did this without ever wearing a glove. If your are truly Mensa certified at 145, this should have been a straightforward exercise for you.

Depending on the design of the glove, you can wear a left hand glove on the right hand even if you don’t turn it inside out. Let’s imagine surgical latex gloves or knitted gloves for instance.

I think if you can read all of the questions, your IQ must be around 100

For #11 I’ve found a different pattern – the number of angles in the resulting figures. All, but the 3rd got even number of them, so I got 132 for that. Anyway, similar quick online IQ tests have been around for some time, and spending 5 minutes on such doesn’t hurt.

My actual IQ is in the low 160’s, so I know for absolute certain that the test is bogus if I only got a 134. An IQ of 134 isn’t earth-shatteringly smart by any stretch of the imagination, it’s in the 98th percentile, which would qualify for Mensa, but if you put that as an ACT score at maximum you’ll most likely only get a 30 or 31. It’s basically high enough to qualify you as gifted, but not high enough to qualify you as a genius

It was 100% a marketing ploy and it worked in that required for them. I wonder though how many people they actually go to signup for a paid service. I would say quite low.

Q.18 some politicians are lazy, no lazy person is wealthy. Which is true for sure?

    A. some politicians are not wealthy

    B. some politicians are wealthy

Because not all of the politicians are specified to be lazy, and only lazy persons are specified not to be wealthy, some polititians might not be lazy and therefore might also be wealthy.

Wouldn’t the answer to question three be Thursday. If you were to be on Saturday some of the day would have passed so Monday would be in 1.x days, not two.
