I recently returned from a trip to Austin, Texas where I had an amazing Horchata at Joann’s Fine Foods on South Congress Street. I’ve been thinking about it so much that I wanted to know who serves Horchata in the Richmond area and here are the places I’ve found so far.

In 2011 I started the Day Zero Project and one of my items was to eat at 101 new restaurants in 1001 days. I easily accomplished that task and since then I have continued to log where I’ve been on a yearly basis.
Asheville is about six hours from Richmond so we got an Airbnb and visited a bunch breweries, restaurants, bars and even a sake brewery. We also hiked Lane Pinnacle in the Blue Ridge Mountains. [VIDEO INCLUDED]
