I don’t make resolutions. To me they are the same as diets. Temporary solutions that are forgotten over time or don’t last. Instead I make lists and make them public for all to see. For me this not only motivates me to cross the items off, but it creates a level of accountability. If you want to eat better, start exercising, volunteer or quit smoking starting tomorrow I say go for it. But just because the calendar says 2013 shouldn’t be the driving force behind this change in my opinion. Do it because you want to change your lifestyle or be a better person.
Here are 20 of the more memorable things I did or accomplished that I can happily look back on and say 2012 was a great year.
- Raised over $1000 for the Special Olympics of Virginia.

A great deal of what I do comes from my Day Zero Project: 101 in 1001 which is an excellent motivator. The basic goal is to make a list of 101 things and accomplish them in 1001 days. So far I have completed 69 of my 101 items. Take a look and try it for yourself. I’m 100% confident that you will be glad you did.
Another year has arrived and I’m ready to take it on like all the previous. As always the goal is simple, grow your current relationships, create new ones and have fun as much as possible.
Thanks to all those who have helped make 2012 such a great year.
Happy New Year!
